🚗💨 Got a Speeding Ticket? Don't just pay it!  A speeding ticket may seem minor, but it can impact your driving record and insurance rates.

  • Driving record
    A speeding ticket stays on your driving record for three years from the date of the conviction. 
     
  • Insurance rates
    Insurance companies consider moving violations like speeding tickets to be an indication of risky driving behavior, which can lead to higher premiums. Insurance providers usually only consider a speeding ticket when calculating your rates for three to five years, but some may look back further. 
     
  • Driver's license suspension
    If you get too many points on your driving record, your license can be suspended.
